Here's Chelsea, making some last-minute changes to her pink glitter cage dress, which she finished as part of the summer Portfolio Prep Camp. Cal-ifornia, here we come!!!

Cal, in her one of a kind, gathered, kelly green dress. Cal worked hard for two full weeks as part of the portfolio prep camp for students. She finished her custom fit, couture quality dress with time to spare. Congrats Cal, it looks great!!! Stay tuned for more pics...

Fall Sewing Schedule out now!

We've added 2 new intermediate sewing classes on Saturdays, plus the ever-popular 'Draft a Designer Dress' which starts on Saturday Sept 24th from 4-7pm. Sign up early to avoid disappointment!

Awesome like Astrid at Adult Sewing Camp!!

Ruffled bikini bottoms can be yours! Serger Basics teaches the tools and tricks you'll need to start sewing with stretch -learn to sew t-shirts, tank tops, tights and more!!! Serger Basics is starting on October 23rd (4-7pm) and runs for 6 weeks. Register early to avoid disappointment at themakeden@hotmail.com!! Class fee is $280 and a 50% deposit is required to hold a space in any class

Update: Vicky's Prom 2011

Just to update everyone on Vicky's awesome prom dress (which garnered some serious attention from everyone here at the studio), Vicky was also a winner in the "Miss Hungary 2011" competition and was wearing her dress when she won her crown. Pics to follow, I promise!!!
